SEMICON India 2026 wraps up successfully at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi

SEMICON India 2026, the fifth installment of India’s premier semiconductor conference, successfully concluded yesterday at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi. Held over three days under the theme “Silicon to Systems: Building the Ecosystem,” the event hosted more than 600 exhibitors, including nearly 300 international participants, delegates from 52 countries, and over 150 speakers. Six Country Pavilions—Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Singapore and Sweden—alongside 12 State Pavilions, highlighted various segments of the semiconductor value chain.

The conference drew 51,656 registrations and a cumulative footfall of around 40,000. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated SEMICON India, noting India’s shift from policy deliberations and project planning to commercial-scale semiconductor production. He met with young chip designers and students and virtually launched commercial production lines at CDIL Semiconductor in Mohali and Suchi Semicon in Surat. Over the three days, the event saw 56 MoUs, announcements and strategic initiatives covering semiconductor design, fabrication, advanced packaging, equipment and materials, power electronics, and Artificial Intelligence.
