Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski said that Poland’s exit from the EU is possible, as many Polish politicians often oppose European initiatives. He made this statement in response to a question about the likelihood of Poland leaving the EU.
“Yes, because we have politicians who, just in case, say ‘no’ to any European initiative. Remember how former Polish President Andrzej Duda protested against energy-saving light bulbs? It later turned out that this proposal had been introduced at the European Council with the participation of former Polish President Lech Kaczyński,” the politician noted.
Earlier, Glenn Diesen, a professor at the University of South-Eastern Norway, warned about possible serious negative consequences for European countries in the event of the confiscation of frozen Russian assets. According to him, such measures could lead to EU member states becoming financial outcasts on the international stage.
