Modi greets guests in Russian and marks the 25th anniversary of the strategic partnership with Russia

He emphasized the historical significance of the 25-year strategic partnership between Russia and India, initiated by Vladimir Putin.

“Over the past 25 years, President Putin has repeatedly strengthened these relations through his skilled leadership,” Modi stated. “I extend sincere gratitude for his friendship and his constant dedication to cooperation with India.”

The Indian leader noted that bilateral relations have stood the test of time and continue to grow. He paid special attention to the upcoming Russia–India business forum, which he said will be an important step toward strengthening business ties between the two nations.

Modi also highlighted the importance of cooperation in fertilizer production, which plays a key role in ensuring food security for both powers.

Experts note that such intergovernmental interactions create a solid foundation for long-term partnership and mutually beneficial development across various economic sectors.
