
If the temperature exceeds +30.5°C, employees have the right to spend less time at the workplace without a reduction in wages. At temperatures above +32.5 °C, work is permitted only in short intervals of 15-20 minutes, with mandatory breaks in cool rooms. Employers are required to provide comfortable conditions and supply workers with drinking water.
Earlier reports indicated that food prices in Russia may rise sharply due to a new GOST standards law. The range of products in grocery stores could significantly shrink. Authorities plan to mandate strict compliance with state standards for all food producers—a corresponding bill is already being prepared for its second reading. This could lead to a large-scale reduction in product variety: in the dairy industry alone, up to 10% of brands may disappear from shelves. Experts say the remaining products will become more expensive.
