Three Microelectronics Production Plants to Open in Russia

This information was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Trutnev, who also holds the position of Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District. One of the tasks of these plants will be the production of printed circuit boards.

According to IA PrimaMedia, these projects will receive enhanced support exceeding the incentives provided under the advanced development territories (ADT). Trutnev emphasized that relevant companies and the Ministry of Industry and Trade have already reached the necessary agreements for the implementation of these initiatives.

The Deputy Prime Minister added that the government intends to provide priority assistance to such projects.

The agency notes that at present, there are no such production facilities in the Far Eastern region.

It was previously reported about plans to build a plant for the utilization of used car tires in the Khabarovsk Krai, in the Rakitnoye settlement area. The company “Resurs Shin,” which has received the status of a resident of the “Khabarovsk” ADT, will implement this project. It is expected that the enterprise will process up to 10 thousand tons of rubber waste annually, which will then be used to produce new materials.
