Alien spacecraft may soon arrive on Earth. It could carry weapons: Avi Loeb

The scientist does not rule out the hypothesis that this object could be of artificial origin and an alien spacecraft. One of the arguments supporting this theory, Loeb says, is the anomalously large size of 3I/ATLAS, which is uncharacteristic of natural space objects arriving from other star systems.

«Comet 3I/ATLAS cannot be some kind of alien ship, as the chance of an extraterrestrial civilization finding Earth specifically as a place where higher life exists is close to zero. And the idea that the comet 'could carry a probe or even weapons' is impossible in the entire history of astronomy and cosmology. This statement is absolutely false and unsupported by any evidence. A similar story already happened with the interstellar asteroid 'Oumuamua, which was mistaken for an alien ship due to its unusual elongated shape,» - explained Kiselev.
