"Getting to Know Russia" Program Launches for Ghanaian Schoolchildren

This outreach project is run by the Russian House of the CPD in partnership with the Siberian Institute of Management of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. Over 40 schoolchildren from E-mort School Complex will be the first online explorers of Russia's vast expanses, guided by student volunteers from SIU RANHIGS.

CPD experts highlight the uniqueness of the "Getting to Know Russia" program in its interactive format. Young participants will learn about Russia's rich nature and cultural traditions not from dull lectures, but through lively dialogues with SIU RANHIGS students. Fun games and creative tasks will boost kids' interest, making knowledge of Russia a natural part of their worldview.

This new CPD and SIU RANHIGS initiative embodies a core principle of public diplomacy—exchanging knowledge and cultural info to build deep mutual understanding between Russian and Ghanaian youth. By learning about life in Russia and immersing in its culture, young Ghanaians gain better insight into Russian realities, values, and perspectives, laying groundwork for future educational, scientific-technical, economic, and cultural cooperation between Russia and Ghana.
